J.A. Patton Elementary

Principal's Message

Hello Patton Family,

I'm excited to begin serving the James Andrew Patton community and know we will have an amazing school year. It's been great to meet many of you over the summer, at morning drop off, and afternoon pick up.
Welcome back to the 2021-2022 school year! We are excited about our Pioneers returning soon! Our faculty and staff have worked diligently this summer to prepare for the opening of school. For those new to Patton, I want you to know that your child is attending one of Texas’s top schools. And to our returning families, thank you for your dedication to making Patton the best! Our motto is “BE THE FIRST.” Our staff is committed to maintaining a high standard of excellence in instruction and by creating a positive, welcoming environment for our students, parents, and community members.

I served as an assistant principal for the past four years. Before my work as an administrator, I served as a campus counselor. In addition to my work as a counselor and assistant principal, I bring 10 years of teaching experience at the elementary, middle and university levels, and teacher training experience.

As your principal, it is my mission to liberate the greatness in each student and staff member by providing an environment where everyone is welcomed and valued. I am deeply committed to educational equity and truly believe that all individuals can succeed when strong relationships are built and maintained. I believe that through the power of connection, excellence can be achieved.
I look forward to connecting with each of you very soon!
All the best,
Christine Snowden
